Integration Welcome Events are held regularly throughout the month, to assist with onboarding new people. In this custom event, the host will start by showing off some interesting things for new initiates and answering any questions they might have before getting into different types of casual games to help everyone have fun and get to know each other. While these events are very similar to bonding events, they offer a bit more help with questions and are more specific to initiates.
It is mandatory for all new Initiates to attend one of the many Welcome events within 10 days of joining or rejoining the server, as it will significantly increase your familiarity with Damage Inc and make it easier to enjoy your time here, by helping you meet other like-minded people. Additionally, while this event is mostly for initiates to attend, members are welcome as well.

We look for people who are knowledgeable of the server and also offer an outgoing personality! We do require you to be in a staff position to host these events, as it is restricted to L3+.

Take note for hosts:
- There must be an initiate in attendance to be able to start the event. If no initiates join by the 10 minute mark, you must cancel the event.
- At the beginning of the event, you must do a 10-15 minute screenshare of generally helpful things for initiates like the events page and how to choose filters, item system, dashboard and auction house, while answering any questions they have along the way.
- Discord/browser games are great to play in these, but main games can be played too! Try and make them more interesting though or choose a different game mode from what they might play in a regular event or comp practice! We want these to be more fun/less focus to win, so it's easier to chat and get to know people.
- Initiates must never be alone in a subchannel or excluded from a main activity over full members/staff. Initiates are the priority in these events.
- The title should have Welcome in it somewhere, to make it easier for initiates to find on the discord server, otherwise they can be whatever you want.
- These events should only be posted under the integration category on EMT or they will not count for the initiates. They should be Flex events, as initiates can sometimes struggle to find the channel in time!
- Each division is required to host 8 Integration events per month. TV's are required to host 1 Integration event each week.
- LM officers will do ECQ checks on these events, to ensure the initiates are having a good first experience of the server.
