A game changing item and inventory system that allows members to obtain item drops, equip items and gain unique benefits or buy/sell items with REP. Items are obtained via drops by leveling up DI skills (eg. going to events or being on discord voice). Items have different tiers of rarity and value. Some items provide cosmetic, XP and/or REP bonuses. This system was developed to make it more fun to engage with DI. Knowing that every event you go to there is a chance you get a unique drop makes the event more exciting. Same for any other leveling activity in DI.

- Only full members (Including Probation) and higher are able to participate in the Item System (Aways and Initiates are ineligible)
- Everyone starts with 20 inventory/bank spaces
- Members start with 1 equipment slot, but unlock more through REP purchases and leveling up their rank
- Inventory will be shown on your ME Dashboard page (dmginc.gg/me)
- Some items are equip-able, and equipped items will be publicly visible and show on Forum Profile/Standings
- Some items are consumable, and provide unique benefits when consumed
- Some items provide bonuses if the whole set is collected
- All items can be auctioned in Auction House
- Inventory of Inactive players are wiped after 14 days
- Additional Bank/inventory space can be purchased with REP by buying and consuming the Bank Slot item
- Additional Equipment Slots can be purchased with REP by buying and consuming the Equipment Slot item
Only one kind of item can be worn in their respective slot (e.g. two capes cannot be equipped at once)

Drops are obtained by participating in DI activities via leveling skills (eg. attending events).
- Legendary - 0.02%
- Epic - 0.5%
- Rare - 2%
- Uncommon - 7.5%
- Common - 20%
- 'Drop chance' for every 1 hour of events attended (including partial hours)
- Drops will show on the EMT event log after each event
- Max 1 item obtainable, per member, per hour
- There is no guarantee an item will drop during a 'Drop chance', in fact there is a 63% chance nothing drops
- 'Drop chance' for every Recruit Token that is converted
- 'Drop chance' occurs once a week (Mondays, based on previous weeks hours)
- The more discord hours a member has in a week, the better their 'Drop chance'
- 1 Hour = 20% of the Default Drop Rate
- 5 Hours = 100% of the Default Drop Rate
- 20 Hours = 400% of the Default Drop Rate
- Higher tier items take precedent if drop rate is higher than 100%
- Max 20 hours per week counted
- Max 1 item per week obtainable

¶ Listing and Pricing Items
Members can list anything they want and set their own prices. It's all about pricing; here are some things you should know:
- Your Price: Decide how much REP you would like to get for something sold, and then put this sum as a price
- Tax Implications: A 15% tax is collected on each transaction made through the auction house. This amount is paid by buyers because it's added on top of sellers asking prices. To illustrate, if you want 100 REP after taxes, make sure your listing reflects that
To help you establish a good price for your item, each one of them will show an estimated market value. You can use this as a basis to set the right price for your item in today's market
- Ownership: Check the Item Log to see who owns specific items.
- Direct Contact: If interested in an unlisted item, you can message the owner directly to negotiate privately.
