¶ Activity Requirements
¶ Overview
Activity Requirements are in place to ensure that Damage Inc continues to be an exciting and engaged gaming community with a wide plethora of events. So that everyone else can benefit from an active community, everyone is expected to contribute their share of activity.
¶ Member Activity Requirements
Member Activity Requirements have been set up as a Tier system, with each level achieved granting higher perks.
When you start a new month, you will be set to the highest Tier you achieved in the previous month but your xp on the Tier system will be reset.
In order to pass the Activity Requirements, you must reach AFK Gamer or higher Tier. Anyone on the Inactive Tier at the end of each month, will be set to Inactive and removed from DI.
The Tiers and their associated perks are:

Additionally you must be a part of the Damage Inc private Discord server
- Leaving the server and failing to re-join within 48 hours is considered an abandonment of membership and will result in being set to Inactive
¶ Staff Activity Requirements
To stay an active as a Staff member in DI:
- Earn 500 xp per month.
- Be a part of the Damage Inc private Discord server
- Leaving the server and failing to re-join within 48 hours is considered an abandonment of membership and will result in being set to Inactive

¶ Probation Requirements
In order to pass each Probation month the following requirements must be met:
- Earn 100 xp (Casual Champion rank) in activity each month.
- Be a part of the Damage Inc private Discord server
- Leaving the server and failing to re-join within 48 hours is considered an abandonment of membership and will result in being set to Inactive

¶ Exemptions
¶ Who:
- Council
- Lifetime Member
- The above two exemptions do not apply to staff in positions.
- L3 Staff (Justice & Development)
- Vanguard*
- Away**
¶ Requirements:
- None. (They don't have to do anything if they don't want)
- *Vanguard are exempt due to Prestige system which awards daily XP.
- **Staff on Away will have reduced requirements applying to only the days during the month not on away.
¶ Obtaining xp
Nearly everything you do within DI will earn you some xp, here is a list of ways to earn it:

Being in a Discord voice channel alone will not earn xp.
¶ Failure
This happens if you fail your Activity Requirements:
- Failing as a Member+, anyone on the Inactive Tier at the end of each month, will be set to Inactive and removed from DI.
- Failing as staff will result in a Negligence in Leadership strike.
¶ AFK Checks
With activity being heavily based on Discord hours a system has been designed to check for people who are abusing it by sitting in channels AFK to pass the requirements while trying to be an unobtrusive to those who are active while in channels.
¶ AFK Check Process
There are three steps to the AFK Check Process:
- Odin will DM the Member asking them to click a button to show they are active.
- If a DM can't be received from Odin, a message will be sent in your channel chat from Odin with a box to click to say you are active.
- If there is still no response, the Member will be moved to the AFK channel, 15 minutes after the first message was sent, with the following message:
¶ AFK Failure Punishment
There will be no punishment for failing a single AFK check but those who are regularly failing them will:
- Receive a verbal warning from VP.
- If they continue, will receive a Failing to Comply with Orders strike.
¶ Completing an AFK Check
You complete an AFK Check by either clicking the box in the DM from Odin or the channel chat message from Odin.
Once completed you will then have a period when you cannot receive another AFK Check, this is to avoid accidental spam of the checks.
