A Division Leader can decide to split their division to form a new division of the same game, usually in another House. If the split is successful, the Division Leader is awarded with the extremely rare Eden triumph.
In order for the Split to be deemed successful and for the Division Leader to earn the Eden triumph, they must ensure that both their own division and the newly formed division remain healthy. Failing that, the split will be deemed a failure and the triumph will be revoked.
- Division needs to be 110+ (to ensure a 55 / 55 split with some buffer)
- The split DL/DV/TL's waive their rights to any grace periods
- The split needs a DL, DV and at least 4+ TLs and 4+ 2ICs.
- At least 40%+ of the members going to the split division needs to be full members.
- Members on probation do not count
- The members being sent to the split must have the primary game from the game that the split is designated as (no sending CSGO members to a Valorant split etc)
After a split, a division has a two-month probationary period where it is considered “unstable.”
- The Division Leader who received the Eden will still be held responsible for mentoring and ensuring stability in the new division (and cannot step down or transfer)
- The DL who led the split is responsible for the DL of the split div during this time, if the split DL steps down or is demoted, the original DL is responsible for finding a replacement
- If a new DL cannot be found, the split will be merged back into the original division and all associated awards /HOTY points removed
- The Eden will be revoked if the division dies and is merged back into the original split
- The House Leader will not be penalized if the new division fails
- The new division is not eligible for an Artisan Triumph
- The split DL is responsible for everything else in their new division (DV/TL staffing, events, comp etc)
- Lasts for 60 days after a split has occurred
- The DL who led the split is responsible for the DL of the split div during this time, if the split DL steps down or is demoted, the original DL is responsible for finding a replacement
- The split DL is responsible for everything else in their new division (DV/TL staffing, events, comp etc)
- If a new DL cannot be found, the split will be merged back into the original division and all associated awards /HOTY points removed
A division will be classified as stable if:
- 2 months since the the announcement in which it was mentioned has passed
- Both Divisions have 50+ members
- Eden will not be revoked upon division death
- Division is eligible for an Artisan Triumph (if <15 members)
- House Leader is held accountable for its health (penalized if it dies on their watch)
- Division Killer is issued to the Division Leader that caused its death.
