¶ House of the Year
¶ Overview
The performance of a House will be measured over a year - with everyone in the house getting a chance to win the rare:
¶ House of the Year Achievement
This award is similar to the Best Division Medal, but it is only handed out once per year.
¶ Scoring
Scoring is based on Triumphs earned + Community Competitions won by the House in a year.

¶ Points
Points will be awarded as follows:
- Leading the recovery of a division - 3pts
- Winning a community competition - 2 pts
- House with highest community competition score - 2 pts
- Leading the growth of a new division - 5 pts
- Splitting a division - 5 pts
¶ Sort Order
The MDR and forum Sort Order are determined by the order of the House of the Year Standings.
¶ Eligibility
Everyone can win this award in the House, but to be eligible to win in you need to:
- Be in the House at the time of the award being issued (end of each year)
- Have served at a minimum, the previous 6 months leading up to the award issue date, in that House.
Previous periods in the House does not count.
For example, if House Javelin won, and you were in House Javelin from January to June (6 months), then moved to another house, and at the end of the Year the award is issued, you will not receive it because you were not IN the winning house on the award issue date, and you were not in the house in at least the preceding 6 months leading up to the award issue date (July onwards).
