The Division Leader position is mainly responsible for Growth and Vision.
Responsibilities of the Division Leader position:
- Lead a Division
- Manage Division Compliance
- Responsible for Division Growth.
- Oversee Discipline in their division
- Mentor & Communicate Daily with Division Staff in their Division
Approximate time required for the above responsibilities is 20 hours a week.
In order to maintain the Division Leader position, one must:
- Ensure Division member count is 50+
- Get 30+ Division-wide recruits per month
- Half of these requirements must be completed by mid month.
- If the division is below 50 you cannot recruit for games that are not the main division game.
- Have Odin's Kin II+ awarded
In order to become a Senior Division Leader, one must:
- Complete 1 split or seed OR obtain L6+ Distinguished achievement
- 3+ months minimum time spent as a DL in current tenure
- Level 20+ Recruiting
- Level 15+ Leadership
- Invite only
- Access to LT Meetings
- Unique Discord Role
- Increased power and autonomy
- Special Officer Achievement
- Preparation for HL/OL position
The best practices to be a successful Division Leader.
- Communicate with your Division Vice daily, to setup a vision and manage Division goals
- Clearly define objectives in measurable terms, communicate your vision to your Officers and delegate
- Monitor staff performance to ensure objectives are met
- Create a great environment for effective staff collaboration
- Resolve issues and help staff work around roadblocks
- Be open to feedback and criticism
- Examine Division performance to identify & tackle weaknesses
- Mentor your Team Leaders and communicate with them daily to ensure high performing teams
- Recognize, praise and award hard working Officers in your Division
- Do not be complacent about poor performing Staff or micro-manage
- Division Leaders must split their Division within 6 months of taking up the position.
- Progression targets will be set by the Division Leader and must be achieved at monthly and mid monthly checks.
- Seed DL's are an exception to these rules.
