It is important to us that we remain a professional, enjoyable, and safe community for our members. To accomplish this, we have a strike system (to remove toxicity) and a Justice Team (to ensure abuse of power is not in play and that strikes are handed out appropriately).
The Strike System is the “stick” in DI - it's harder to get away with toxicity when repeated instances will result in removal from the community. The Strike System is also used to hold staff accountable to the promises they make to the community when they take a position.
The Strike Appeal system is in place to ensure strikes are issued properly and without bias. Members may defend their actions with evidence and have their strike voted on by the Justice Team.
Appropriate and non-toxic Conduct is taken very seriously in DI - a safe environment is a promise we make to every member. Additionally, it is important that members and officers uphold the integrity of the community through their actions.
Officers who step down before their term is served or with responsibilities incomplete may be met with a Temporary Ban that prohibits them from a staff position for a period of time.
When a member reaches 12 or more active Warning Points, their membership is revoked and they are Blacklisted from Damage Inc.
